collection: in a word {round two}
here is the collection of words from my bag that have zoomed all over the globe this week...
a few details:
* i pulled each word randomly from rob brezsny's pronoia.
* the words are written on paint chips gifted to me years ago by a dear friend and talented designer.
* the background is frank lloyd wright wrapping paper from pomegranate.
* the photos were captured and edited on my diphone with the camera+ app.
there are still words swirling in the glitter...feel free to drop me a line if you would like one.

{vitality} wild ride
vitality.
and i got it.
the last two weeks have been an absolutely wild ride.
innkeeper spontaneous combustion: an enormous explosion of energy, ideas, people, possibilities, adventures.
for example, my hair is now chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla...
and in a whirlwind of wishes and manifestation, i am suddenly going to burning man this year...
there are important stories i long to tell you about this process, tales of firewalking, woe, excitement, tears, and transformation.
right now, i must focus my energy on packing for the playa and preparing for school to start in two days...
my friends, this is a special time.
i am taking the inn to the next level.
i do hope you will join me...it is going to be amazing.

{gallery} the depression in color
my best friend benjamin discovered a collection of photos this week that i find mesmerizing, poignant, and beautiful...

it is a series of images in the united states between 1939 -> 1943 from the library of congress exhibit "bound for glory: america in color" shared via the denver post photo blog...

these pictures were taken by photographers of the farm security administration/office of war information and are some of the only color photographs which capture the impact of the great depression on small town life during that time...

it was extremely difficult for me to choose just three to illustrate the spirit of the entire gallery. i hope these three will inspire you to look at the rest...there are so many breathtaking photos in the collection.
wishing you a lovely weekend, my friends!
