{snaps} neon crush

i spent the weekend zipping all over san francisco, my gypsy soul visiting urban tribe members, adventuring through street fairs and coffee shops, tasting delicious food, and soaking in the visual splendor of my favorite city.

lodging was graciously provided by friends who still live in my former neighborhood. on saturday night, i took a walk and spent time photographing some of the radiant signs that glow and capture my heart...

maker faire twenty eleven

i spent yesterday at the bay area maker faire, an event where participants can "make, create, learn, invent, craft, recycle, think, play, celebrate, and be inspired by arts, crafts, engineering, food, music, science, and technology."

it was a wonderful way to spend a sunny sunday, soaking in all the amazing creativity of the people who live in and around san francisco.
