I love the animals and the Schlitz sign. When I was a kid my younger brother wore a clover shaped pin on the bib of his overalls, that said "Irish I had a Schlitz." I don't think my parents let him wear it outside the house...I hope not. ; )

I LOVE that accordion. Beautiful.

Well I like the pig! It's the horses that freak me out. For some reason things in bulk can get creepy to me...

em...sending you some extra sparkle for your week! :)

monica + petra...ha! you both made me giggle. i think the pig is spooky, too. that's why i took such a close up eyeball photo of it. my grandmother always used to have weird kitsch like this in her house. creepy cute. i'm frequently drawn to creepy cute.

rachele...thanks!

felicity...oh my, you made me laugh out loud. i LOVE your story! so funny. my grandmother was irish + always had a schlitz or two in the fridge.

mim...a sweet gentleman at the antique store told me that this accordian was made in the italian accordian capital many many years ago. it's all mother of pearl + so finely detailed. i loved it!

nikkibit...yes, i know what you mean about bulk stuff being creepy. the antique place is full of bulk collections that make me feel kinda weird! p.s. welcome to the inn! <3

alfie...thank you, my dear. xo
