{celebration} wings: in flight

the last few months of my thirty-fourth year were a very dark and challenging time in my life...

when thirty-five began, i considered it a reset button and started a whole new chapter.

i am so thankful that it turned out to be a wondrous new adventure.

this is the year i have finally embraced myself as an artist.

through deep searching and personal commitment, i reached a complete and total acceptance of all that i currently am as a creative being.

i am looking forward to my thirty-sixth year as a time to explore this new relationship with myself as an artist.

in celebration of this incredible shift, a short poem...

Something opens our wings.

Something makes boredom and hurt disappear.

Someone fills the cup in front of us:

We taste only sacredness.
