i discovered such art created by amanda laurel atkins when she sent a lovely painting to my dear friend, fritzi marie.
amanda's paintings immediately drew me in and held on to me.
perhaps due to the fact that my word this year is art, i got lucky and won this exquisite piece in a generous giveaway hosted by amanda...
on finding you
this print arrived in my mailbox recently and caused me to squeal with joy upon opening the package. it is now perched beautifully on a shelf in my studio, waiting for a frame and gazing out at me in this year of the rabbit.
i truly adore amanda's work. it causes me to feel a hauntingly beautiful ache, a history of depth, a strong character story captured in the paint.
